HBFIT FASHION: #BLACKFRIDAY

Take a deep cleansing breath people, Black Friday is upon us. For those of us that love to shop, or those addicted to snagging bargains, this holiday just might hold even more significance than the day that precedes it… you know, that thing called Thanksgiving? I joke. But really, who isn’t thankful for Black Friday? I’m super excited to hit the shops and stock up presents for my friends and family — and yes, probably a few things for myself along the way! I’m only human! To get amped for the day ahead I’ve shared some of my favorite wintery items and looks I’ll be keeping an eye out for! Check out the looks below to get the low down on my favorite cold weather trends. Happy shopping HBfitters!

HEAD-TO-TOE KNITS

Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs

Does it get any cozier than this? I saw this trend on the runway at Céline and Stella McCartney. Marc Jacob’s version, which you can see in the photo above, is my favorite and is just as appropriate for weekend brunch as it is for cuddling on the couch.

THE BRIGHTER THE BETTER

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi

There are two ways I boost my mood during the sometimes-gloomy winter: a killer workout never fails and neither does a killer coat. Grey skies and slush can’t compete with a bright wool beauty like this one from Preen by Thornton Bregazzi.

CITY SLICKER

Lanvin

Lanvin

While winter conjures up images of snow, with weather as unpredictable as the next big fashion trend, sometimes a little bit of rain is more likely. Miu Miu’s pastel vinyl coats were 100% cool, but this Lanvin leather trench is what I’ll wear when my fashion forecast calls for a 100% chance of being chic and sophisticated.

MAD FOR PLAID

Salvatore Ferragamo

Salvatore Ferragamo

Plaid is to winter as gingham is to summer and even though this is nothing new; I love a modern version like this fade-to-black wool coat by Salvatore Ferragamo. It’s sure to look just as good with jeans and a sweater as it does belter with cool boots.
