POWER INGREDIENT: SEEDS

 

 

Children learn that seeds are planted in the ground and help things grow. Adults, on the other hand, learn that seeds are packed full of nutrients that improve everything from our blood pressure to our complexions.

I put seeds on everything. No seriously, everything. It’s a great way to add nutritional value and texture to things I eat all of the time – Greek yogurt, oatmeal, quinoa, granola, salads and of course smoothies! You can also incorporate seeds into recipes for things like pesto, muffins, bread and even pancakes! Here are a few of my favorites.

    Thank you for the info. How do you use the Watermelon seeds? I know how to use the rest, do you do the same with the watermelon seeds? E.G. use it in smoothies, etc?
