Every now and then I experience someone or something that makes me think, feel or do something that completely challenges my norm. These people, places and things inspire me and I’m excited to share them in a recurring feature, HBFIT: Inspired By.
Today, for our first feature, I’m calling out Kyle Miller of Kyle Miller Yoga.
I first heard of Kyle through a friend who was a devoted attendee of her classes at Yoga Vida in NYC. It was only a short time later that I experienced why, first-hand. Kyle’s style of instruction is, unlike so many yogis, totally unaffected. She’s one of those rare instructors that makes you feel alone in a packed room – get ready for chills, “ah-ha” moments and serious sweating.
Kyle is grounded, powerful and real. She’s not afraid to laugh, but has a sincere respect for the philosophical aspects of yoga. She’s a founding member of the group, Yoga for Bad People and offers classes in LA and NYC as well as retreats all around the world. Also you have to check out her book, Yoga Dream with illustrations by Michael Gigliotti.
