INSIDE HB: COLD-WEATHER TONIC

Yes it’s STILL winter and while I seek refuge in sunny California, the cold weather in NYC is looming. Layering up in comfy knitwear and sipping on herbal teas can only do so much to shake off the scratchy throat and nagging cough that inevitably comes knocking this time of year. Between running HBFit, DJ gigs and maintaining my wellness routine, my day-to-day schedule is pretty hectic, which is why it’s super important that I keep my immune system leveled out and my body well nourished.

So I concocted an all-natural cold and flu remedy that’s loaded with superfoods like ginger, turmeric and lemon – all designed to cleanse the immune system, soothe a sore throat and settle an upset stomach. I sip on this warming tonic on days when I’m running low on energy or feeling under the weather, and now you can too. Enjoy!
