I approach my style the same way that I do my fitness regimen – I usually stick to a routine, but I also know that it’s essential to switch it up every so often! I looked to the Spring/Summer 2015 Runway to see what’s happening in fashion and what trends might be fun to try. Lace and denim were definitely two details that caught my eye, so my stylist, Alex, formulated the looks below with an HBFit twist, of course!

I love super feminine dresses for DJing a party or attending an event. Sometimes I want to feel a little glam during the daytime, luckily, this season some of my favorite designers, Lanvin & Fendi showed fancy fabrics like lace, brocade, and fringe in the most casual silhouettes – think silk track pants and brocade tee shirts. I’m obsessed with this lace bomber jacket from Lanvin.  I dressed it down even more by pairing it with my favorite Rag & Bone crop top and THVM black skinny jeans. Graphic penny loafers from Maiyet are the perfect mix for a casual and cool vibe.

Canadian Tuxedo? Not quite. I’ve been known to wear denim-on-denim for daytime as it’s a chic style-formula that always works. But I wondered how to translate this look for night. I looked to designers like Stella McCartney and Burberry to see how to incorporate denim into statement pieces that could be styled for a night out. They didn’t disappoint; showing cool cut-out dresses and the most amazing denim trenches, respectively. I chose a distressed patchwork denim printed skirt by Jonathan Cohen (that’s actually satin!) and paired it with a darker, boxy top by Simon Miller which I belted. Streamlined accessories from Christian Louboutin & Lanvin completed the look.
