Energy healing:

Acupuncture and reiki both fall into the energy healing category. Chi energy is channeled into the patient by an energy healer and it will then promote self- healing. Where?
For meditation you don’t necessarily need a therapist, it’s something that can be practiced on your own. However, there are plenty of apps that encourage meditation and aid those in personalizing their meditation experience. The Mindfulness App is one of our favorites. Mindfulness includes a five-day guided meditation practice, reminders, and personalized meditation options as well. Another app we highly recommend is Headpace. It is definitely the best option for beginners and offers a ‘newbie’ style option, which focuses on 10- minute meditation exercises throughout the day. Downloading these will increase energy for those who are interested in practicing mediation on their own time.

For those interested in seeing specialists and learning these practices from an expert we recommend Mndful and Inscape. Mndful, which has three locations (Williamsburg, Greenwich Village, and the Upper East Side) offers several different options of meditation which focus on different aspects of the body and mind. You can choose from Breath, Intention, Sound, Sleep, Body, Emotion, and Mantra just to name a handful. Mndful is the ideal place to unwind and find that mind/body connection to improve your overall well being and happiness.Nscape, who’s studio is located in Flatiron offers four different types of meditation experiences: Focus, Mindfulness, Mantra, and Visualization. The Meditation Experience is meant to settle the body and mind into meditation. This includes movement and breathing exercises In addition to this, Inscape also offers Relaxation Experiences which focuses on Sound, Deep Rest, and Deep Breath. Unlike the Meditation Experience, you are lying down the entire time and it is aimed to stimulate full relaxation. Creating an environment that makes clients feel safe, nurtured and revitalized.
