HBFIT Guide: The Perfect Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is a super cheesy holiday, the candy hearts alone confirm this, but it’s also a really fun excuse to show the people you care about most just how much you love them. This year, I have to admit, I’m super excited to celebrate and have a romantic night out with B. Turns out, he’s really excited too. So, we paired up with EXPRESS and decided to create our perfect Valentine’s Day guide for you guys – a little peak into what we’ll be eating, wearing, gifting and even listening to the night of. Hopefully, it will give all of you lovely HBfitters some good ideas for how to spend your February 14!

B and I love food and some of our most memorable nights have taken place while sitting across one another sharing a seriously delicious meal. That’s why, although going to a new restaurant is really fun, it’s even more romantic to go somewhere that has history and memories. Here are a few of our favorite spots that are perfect for date nights and hold many wonderful memories for both of us!

Jack’s Wife Freda

The Eddy

The Marlton Hotel

Northern Spy Co

What’s the second best part about Valentine’s Day (You know, aside from celebrating love.)? An excuse to go shopping! This year we decided to go shopping together and thanks to EXPRESS we were able to one-stop shop since they have equally awesome men’s and women’s clothes. See above for some of our favorite looks! If you see looks you like, enter to win your favorite outfit courtesy of EXPRESS.  Find your #valentinesday look on EXPRESS, post a photo of it and tag it with #LoveExpress #EXPSweeps & @ExpressRunway. You’ll be entered to win $100 Express Gift Card! Official rules here.

I’m not going to spill what I got B for Valentine’s Day just yet, but while putting together this post I came across so many amazing gifts that could have been contenders! Here are some of my favorite gifts!

It might be because we are both DJs and have a shared passion for music, but for us, nothing sets the mood quite like music. Songs, like restaurants, have so many memories attached to them and it’s a great way to look back at your relationship. Listening to that song you played over-and-over when you first started dating brings you back to that bubbly, new love kind of feeling. Let’s see if any of my favorites are yours as well. Check out my very romancy and awesome (If I do say so myself.) Valentine’s Day Playlist – enjoy!
