I certainly wouldn’t mind having overnight oats for breakfast everyday!
Here’s the thing about me and food: when I find something that I love, I have to have it every.single.day until I get tired of it and then is on to the next thing.
Sometimes the routine can be very comforting right?
Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats
1 Cup Oats
1 Sliced Apple
1 ripe banana, mashed
1 tablespoons chia seeds
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup almond milk
1/3 cup water
Add all of the ingredients in a bowl (or in a jar). Stir well to combine. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, give it a stir and enjoy it cold, I like cold food after my workout but you can heat it up if you prefer it warm.
I love topping my oats with a pinch of cinnamon, ginger, chopped nut and nut butter to create my perfectly fall bowl.
Total fall comfort food!
