HBFIT Fired Up Salad

We called it the fired up salad for a reason – Its because we are fiiiiiiired up about it!  HBFIT has collaborated with Just Salad to make a salad no one could turn down.  This salad will be available at all Just Salad locations around Manhattan (and elsewhere) through October and we’re super pumped about it, but for those of you who just can’t get enough (or can’t get it at all), we’ve got the recipe and the 411 for you.

We created the Fired Up salad because we wanted something that reflected what we eat often: a light and refreshing combo of greens with protein, those yummy fats, and a tangy kick. This salad is low in calories but keeps you full post-workout or for your long work day. Try it at home and tag us in your pics!

What you’ll need for the salad:

  • Super Greens
  • Red Cabbage
  • Chicken Breast
  • Cucumbers
  • Tomatoes
  • Basil
  • Lemon
  • Avocado
  • Jalapeño

and for dressing:

  • Lemon Juice
  • Olive Oil
  • Smashed basil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • White wine vinegar
