March Madness: Beauty Tips for Busy Bees

I probably say this at least once a month, but lately I feel like I’m the busiest I’ve ever been in my life. Don’t get me wrong, I’m so thankful and couldn’t be happier doing what I love and getting to work on many exciting projects, but sometimes I feel like I am constantly moving and sometimes I forget to take care of myself. On theme with March Madness, I’m going to give you a few tips on keeping your health, beauty and fitness on point during the times when you’re up to your elbows in work.

#1 Meal Prep, Meal Prep, Meal Prep

Take a few hours on a Sunday to plan and prep your meals for the upcoming week. Not only does this save you the headache of making lunch during the week (or spending money eating out), it ensures you’re eating GOOD. Eating nutritious, healthy food full of protein, fats and veggies can keep your energy and mood up, not to mention keep your skin glowing!

See my meal prepping tips here.

#2 Simplify Your Manicure Routine

Love having dope looking nails but don’t have time to go to the salon once a week? I feel you. That’s what I opt for OPI’s GelColor manicures. They last longer (up to THREE weeks) so that means less time fussing with chipped nails and going to the salon.

This month I’m wearing Lisbon Wants Moor OPI and Sun, Sea and Sand in My Pants from OPI’s new Lisbon Collection and because I’m still obsessing over that magical birthday trip to Portugal!

#3 Eye Masks For the WIN

If you find yourself working long hours AND keeping up with your social life Tuesday through Sunday, you’re probably not getting as much sleep as you need. Under eye circles are something every busy bee deals with, but that doesn’t mean they’re cute. Under eye masks are a great way to combat dark circles and keep your eyes bright. Carry them in your purse to use at your desk or during those long Uber rides uptown. TRUST!

#4 Take Your Vitamins

Being out and about all the time can really take a toll on your health, especially in New York where the germs are a-floatin’. Sticking to a vitamin regimen can really keep your body and health in check, your skin clear, and your blood levels normal. I love companies like Care Of that create individual vitamin packs that are personalized for you and your body’s needs.
