Nail Art You Can Do On Your Own (Yes, Really)

Everybody knows that if you’re not wearing nails, you’re not fully dressed ?

Nails are the finishing touch to any look. Nail art is the perfect accessory, and with the right colors, it’s super easy to do on your own.

Asymmetrical designs, color blocking, stripes and straight lines — the more unexpected and nontraditional, the better. Just check out some of the gorgeous nail art that was on display last month at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017.

Michelle Saunders for Rebecca Minkoff

This nail art by Michelle Saunders for Rebecca Minkoff is a perf fit for bright clothes and smokey makeup. The design is fun and effortlessly stylish, and the concept works with any outfit. Colors are Go Go Geisha
& Maki Me Happy by Essie.

Jin Soon Choi for Vera Wang

We loved the simple statement of this nail art — the lone black stripe adds edge to this look, and it suits the outfit perfectly. Designed by nail artist Jin Soon Choi for Vera Wang, these black and pink striped nails are cute and bold finishing touches on any look. Colors are Audacity & Doux by JINsoon.

alice + olivia’s Mystic Garden

We were wowed by the delicate and detailed nail art from alice + olivia’s Mystic Garden show. These neutral nails with pretty floral touches around the edges added extra magic when paired with shimmery pastel makeup. The CND design team used VINYLUX polish from CND to achieve this gorgeous effect.
