Summer Beauty: Why I Opt for GelColor on My Toes

This post is in collaboration and affiliation with OPI.

Summer is practically here and I couldn’t be more excited! Getting out of the city and onto a beach is always my number one priority during these months and I’m so ready for some R&R in the sun, who’s with me?

I don’t know about you, but my beauty routine differs from season to season. Think about it – the weather has an effect on your hair, skin and nails and most of the time your day-to-day routine changes, including the clothes you wear, the type of transportation you opt for and even what you eat. So it makes sense that you cater your beauty routine to these changes.

During the summer, one thing I pay special attention to is my FEET. Yes, weird, I know. During the warmer months, my feet tend to be more exposed because I’m either barefoot on the beach or walking around the city in open-toed shoes. With the warmer weather, I also like to walk more so my feet need that extra TLC. Getting regular pedicures is so necessary so I can prevent callus build up.

Another tip I have is getting OPI GelColor applied on my toes, as opposed to regular lacquer. GelColor is longer-lasting and stronger so it can withstand everything your toes go through during the summer months – swimming, walking through the sand, and being more exposed to the sun. With over 140 of your favorite OPI shades to choose from, there really is no excuse not to get gels on your toes.

Some shades I’m loving for toes this summer are Kiss Me I’m Brazilian, Living on the Bula-vard!, and Purple Palazzo Pants.
